October 5, 2016, 6:48 am American poker pro Daniel Stern was last week's biggest online poker winner, according to HighstakesDB. The player won a total of $245,371 in profits in the week between September 26 and October 2.

Sulsky was far and away the week's biggest winner after banking $255,433 in 4,031 hands spread across 14 sessions. The next closest winner was Daniel 'd2themfi' Isaacson, who won a modest $84,310 in 489 hands over 10 sessions. Meanwhile, Timofey 'Trueteller' Kuznetsov came in third on the leaderboard with $69,317 in profit, which came in 1,721 hands over 17 sessions.

On the flip side, Andres 'Educa-p0ker' Artinano had a losing week after dropping $282,953 in 2,911 hands over eight sessions. Still, the Spaniard sits atop the yearly leaderboard, albeit it now with 'just' $637,917 in profit.

Another player who had a bad week was Sami 'LrsLzk' Kelopuro, who lost $102,244 in 3,025 hands over 36 sessions.

Isaacson vs. Haxton in Pot-Limit Omaha Action

According to HighStakesDB, on Thursday, February 25 a $100/$200 pot-limit Omaha game broke out between Isaacson and Isaac 'philivey2694' Haxton. After three and a half hours, during which they played 488 hands across nine tables, Isaacson walked away an $84,300 winner. Here's a look at the two biggest hands from the match.

Hand #1: Isaacson ($28,920.20) opened for $680 and then called when Haxton ($29,420.05) three-bet to $2,120. The flop saw Haxton lead out for $2,159, Isaacson raised to $10,795, and Haxton three-bet to $27,300.03. Isaacson called off for $26,800.20 total and just like that there was a $58,000.40 pot on the line.

Both players had flopped a flush draw, but Isaacson's was best in that regard. The two agreed to run it twice, and Isaacson locked up half the pot after making the said flush on the first turn and river run out. No diamond appeared on the second, which came the turn and river, but Isaacson backdoored two pair to scoop the entire pot.

Hand #2: Haxton ($43,414.86) limped and then called when Isaacson ($30,168.92) exercised his option with a raise to $680, which brought about an flop. Isaacson bet $1,438, Haxton raised to $4,285.24, and Isaacson just called to see the turn. Not a Good Leap Day for Artinano; Sulsky Wins Big

Artinano woke up with a check-raise to $7,154.82, Sulsky called, and the paired the board on the turn.

Artinano led out for $7,323.05, Sulsky raised to $14,646.10, and Artinano called before checking the river. Sulsky moved all in for $17,442.50 and Artinano called with the . It was no good though as Sulsky held a full house with the to lay claim to the $82,486.84 pot.

Kelopuro Books a Win at $100/$200 PLO Tables

On Wednesday, March 2, Kelopuro finished as the biggest winner of the day after winning $91,200 off Kuznetsov after two and a half hours and 441 hands at the $100/$200 PLO tables.

The biggest of those hands happened when Kuznetsov ($36,452.27) raised to $680, Kelopuro ($43,285.73) called, and the flop came down . Kelopuro check-called a bet of $958.66 and then checked the turn. Kuznetsov bet $2,516.49 and then called when Kelopuro check-raised to $10,904.79.

When the completed the board on the river, Kelopuro bet $20,131.92 and Kuznetsov called. Kelopuro tabled the for a wheel, and it earned him the $65,310.74 pot as Kuznetsov simply mucked.

Biggest Poker Winners 2016 List

This week in the Online Railbird Report, Tom 'tjbentham' Bentham was the biggest winner, earning $59,192 over 411 hands played. He edged out the always fun Ilari 'Ilari FIN' Sahamies by less than $7,000, as Sahamies won $52,789 over 637 hands played.

On the other end of the spectrum, 'KissMyAcePlz' was easily the week's biggest loser, dropping $64,108 over 266 hands of play. Both Daniel 'd2themfi' Isaacson and 'OtB_RedBaron' lost nearly $40,000 apiece over 275 and 294 hands, respectively, but still roughly $25,000 less than 'KissMyAcePlz'.

Three Biggest Pots Online in the Last Week

The three biggest pots this week all came from a $100/$200 no-limit hold'em game. It's been some time since we saw intensive action at the hold'em tables, but this week those looking for big Cadillac of Poker pots were pleased.

1. 'wilhasha' Wins $115,160 Pot Off Thuritz

  • $100/$200 No-Limit Hold'em, Five-Handed

On this five-handed $100/$200 table, it was the Belgian player 'OtB_RedBaron' making it $400 from first position. Mikael 'ChaoRen160' Thuritz three-bet to $1,600 from the cutoff seat, and Nikita 'fish2013' Bodyakovskiy gave up his button.

In the small blind, 'wilhasha' cold four-bet to $5,600, and big blind Henrik 'hhecklen' Hecklen folded. 'OtB_RedBaron' followed suit and folded as well, but Thuritz five bet to $11,900. 'wilhasha' shoved all in for $57,280.38 and Thuritz made the call, creating the $115,160 pot.

2. Hecklen Wins $97,056 Pot Off Thuritz

On this three-handed table, it was Thuritz opening the action with a button raise to $500 holding the . Bodyakovskiy folded from the small blind, and Hecklen three-bet to $2,128 holding the . Thuritz made the call.

The flop came , giving Hecklen the nut flush and a worse one for Thuritz. Thuritz did have an out to the for a straight flush, though.

With $4,356 in the pot, Hecklen checked. Thuritz bet $2,306.03, and Hecklen called. The hit the turn, and Hecklen checked again. Thuritz bet $7,600 into the $8,968.06 pot, and Hecklen called.

The on the river paired the board and Hecklen checked for the third time. With the pot now at $24,168.06, it was Thuritz shoving all in for $37,965.97. Hecklen wasn't willing to lay down his flush and called for just a little less than Thuritz's shove. Thuritz saw the bad news that he had been out-flopped, and Hecklen won the pot of nearly $100,000.

'wilhasha' checked with $25,691.19 behind. The pot was $23,995 at this point, and 'Katya_18' shoved all in for $30,306.50. 'wilhasha' called with the for second pair, ace kicker, but he saw the pot go to his opponent, as 'Katya_18' showed the for top two pair.
